CHRIS HAZELL
After finishing university, I started a career in accounting that ended up being quite short lived. Whilst I had a love of numbers and a passion for analytics, I really missed the ‘people’ side of things that drives me to do what I do today. As a finance broker I still enjoy the challenge of crunching numbers every day, but that is distant second to the satisfaction I get from working with my clients and helping them navigate the complex financial world we live in today. Everyone has somewhere they want to go, a goal they want to achieve or a financial freedom they want to revel in, and I have the privilege of helping people get there whilst juggling numbers along the way.
JAMES & BETH
Young couple James and Beth along with their two children Magnus and Freya, were looking for a South West lifestyle with some space for the kids to grow. They wanted to buy a new home whilst holding onto their existing property so they could settle, tidy up the place and then move down south gradually at their own pace. We helped secure finance for their new property whilst keeping their existing home. We also arranged the lending in a way that kept cashflow manageable during the transition period. The properties settled within a few months of each other providing plenty of time to move, but quick enough that it was not a financial burden. Beth, James and the kids have a beautiful home down south with their own avocado orchard and plenty of room to grow as a family. There are plans for AirBnB’s in the coming years but the friends and family visiting each weekend keeps them plenty busy for the time being.

TIM FLANAGAN
Tim is a professional helicopter pilot and splits his year between flying in the Northwest of WA and fighting fires on the east coast of Australia during bushfire season. Tim was looking to start a helicopter business and purchase a new Robinson helicopter to get the business underway. To keep things clean and separate, Tim utilised the equity in the family home and then borrowed funds that he could contribute to the business. This enabled him to purchase the first bird. Tim keeps busy working throughout Australia and the business is going incredibly well – the business now has a second bird in the sky.
